Caught Red-Handed!

As I was relaxing in my perch today, I looked out just in time to catch a woodchuck eating Mommy's zinneas right out of the garden! I made a chittering noise and alerted Mommy to the culprit. She's so upset that he was eating her beautiful flowers... but, they do look good and I bet they taste good too!

The woodchuck likes to eat lots of stuff. In fact, I think that's his only job in life. He eats until he's as big as a house and then he sleeps all winter. What a life! We happen to have two woodchucks living in the backyard under a fallen tree. Sometimes if I'm really good, Mommy lets me walk near it to take a sniff. It's a shame I'm on a harness...I can only go where Mommy goes.
