Spring is Here (FINALLY!!!)
I honestly thought that we would never see the sun thing come back and warm us up again! It's been rather chilly outside the house this year. But Spring is here whether the weather wants it to be or not! All the aminals are coming back out of their hiding places and coming to our yard in search of food! Our first hint that it was Spring was the yard full of Robins! The weather bowed to them and welcomed them back to the area by letting the sun thing come out and warm it up a bit!
Here's a mourning dove, no, nothin's wrong with it! Promise! It was sunbathing :) Every day we find them hanging out under the feeders in the sun. They like it when the little birds knock the good seed down on the ground and then they can peck around at it.

Grammie noticed this little beauty. It's the white breasted nuthatch! You should see them sometime! They're quite silly a'cause they can climb up and down the trees like a woodpecker and they knock on the wood to hear little buggies that are hiding in there and stuff...

Here's the most funnest one of all to talk about! Momma gotted the thistle feeder just so that this little guy would come, and he did! And he does! Every day, four little goldfinches have their meals here. Their song is so light and pretty, it reminds me of my good old friend, Tangie. He would have loved to hear them sing...

This am "The Dog Family". That's what Momma and Grammie call them. Every day, these two beans walk their doggies in front of our house. Whoever sees them walking by always says, "Oh! there goes the dog family!" Momma loves Beagles and as you can see, they have two! So she's always wanted to sneak a picture of them and finally got the shot! They don't live too far up the road from us. Sometimes, I can hear them barking outside...they have a funny bark (tee-hee!)

Lots of activity & visitors going on there. Not here quite yet. Maybe a couple more weeks.
Tim Tim! I think we have all those very same birdies that you showed here too! Dad put a thistle feeder out (first time) and Mr. and Mrs. and Mr. Goldfench have been hanging out. Birdies that look like robins have been hanging out at the lighted feeder, and I saw something that looked like the nuthatch birdie, but I thought it was a woodpecker. Oh, we have mourning doves too, and some mocking birdies were getting rather friskie Saturday. I think we'll have little mocking birds. Dad is still waiting to see a tufted titmouse. Hmmmmm....
We has lots of birdies. I gotted to go out and when I tried to go and catch the Inca Doves the humans made me go back inside. I don't see what the big deal was. Just because I don't live on a farm anymore shouldn't mean that I can't catch birdies anymore.
Lots of great birdie pictures, Timmy! We wish we had so many different birdies in our garden (and my mum wishes she had time to sit and watch the ones we do have).
Looks like Spring has sprung for you Timmy ~Poiland Tribe
