Unknown Caterpillar

Look! Look! I was out on the deck this afternoon enjoying the break from the heat when my eye spotted this unusual buggie! Momma says that it will turn into something else if we leave it alone. I wonder what it will be! Shmaybe it will turn into a moth like the picture below...

I've been researching this caterpillar and have yet to figure out what it could be. It was just kinda sittin' there on the parsley. And, it had a friend on another branch! Momma says the parsley has seen better days and that she didn't know they maked flowery looking things if left alone... I did but that only a'cause I'm a wise and cunning cat.

Mom tells us her cat long ago when she was a girl used to eat parsley. They used to grow it in pots for him. We don't eat it, but the guinea pigs love it!

We had some of those 'pillars on our flat leaf parsley last week. Mom tried to move them, and man, what a stink-a-roo.
