hmmm???

I'm not sure what to say about this but, sitting on our new birdfeeder today was a most unusual birdie. Mommy has never seen it before and Gramma says from the photo, she can't make out what it is either. I dunno...to me, it looks delish no matter what it is!

This little bird is about the size of Tangerine the Canary but he's a bluish-grey. A long black stripe starts at his beak and goes into his neck as you can see... The coolest part is its beak. It is very long...reminded me of a hummingbird, only that it isn't as long. We'll have to do more research on this one for sure! All I know is that I really like watching this new feeder. It is higher off the ground so no casualties will occur when Whisper from next door, visits unexpectedly and it invites many new species of delicious birdies!
